For more information please attend a drop in opportunity on Thursdays between 10 am and 11 am and/or visit the UCC website at https://counseling.olemiss.edu/. You can call UCC at 662-915-3784 or visit them Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. . Remember that you are not alone during this time.
What if my final exam in delivered in a different modality?
Please speak to your course instructor to discuss the time, modality, and proctoring practices required for your final exam. The best advice is to prepare in advance of the final exam, particularly if you’re using proctoring software services for a remotely-delivered exam. The UM Online Testing office offers a variety of proctored exams in the Linda Chitwood Testing Center at the University of Mississippi Jackson Avenue Center. You can contact them at (662) 915-1267 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
What happens if I have to miss my final exam because I’m sick, quarantined, or experiencing an emergency?
You should contact the course instructor before (if possible) the exam time if you are unable to attend your final exam. Course instructor is best able to address your specific issue. If you experience an unavoidable emergency and cannot contact the course instructor before the final exam, contact the course instructor as soon as possible. The University Examinations Policy states that a student’s failure to appear for an examination without an acceptable excuse, inability to present valid identification, absence from the room during the course of an examination without the consent of the examiner, or attempting any portion of an examination without submitting his or her answers shall result in failure of the examination.
What if I have 3 or more final exams on the same day?
A student who has three or four final examinations in one day may arrange with the course instructor to take the noon or 7:30 p.m. examination at another time.
